Si usas el TTC todos los d\u00edas, este cambio te toca directo al bolsillo.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona exactamente?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quien pague con PRESTO, d\u00e9bito o cr\u00e9dito viaja autom\u00e1ticamente gratis despu\u00e9s de 47 viajes dentro de un mismo mes calendario. No hay que inscribirse ni activar nada \u2014 el sistema lo calcula solo con cada toque de tarjeta, y aplica igual para tarifa de adulto, adulto mayor y joven, cada una con su propio conteo seg\u00fan su tarifa base.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El conteo se reinicia cada mes calendario, no cada 30 d\u00edas desde tu primer viaje. Eso significa que si usas mucho el transporte a inicios de mes, el tope llega antes; si lo usas parejo todo el mes, puede que ni lo notes hasta las \u00faltimas semanas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el TTC decidi\u00f3 hacer este cambio?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La medida fue impulsada por la alcaldesa Olivia Chow como parte del presupuesto 2026 de la comisi\u00f3n, bajo la idea de \u00abviaja m\u00e1s, paga menos\u00bb. La junta del TTC ya adelant\u00f3 que planea llevar el tope a 40 viajes mensuales para el presupuesto de 2027, es decir, que el beneficio podr\u00eda llegar todav\u00eda m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1nto te puedes ahorrar realmente?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con la tarifa individual en $3.30, llegar a los 47 viajes representa un gasto de poco m\u00e1s de $155 en el mes \u2014 cualquier viaje despu\u00e9s de ese punto sale gratis. Alguien que use el TTC para ir y volver del trabajo cinco d\u00edas a la semana ya hace unos 40 a 44 viajes solo con esa rutina, as\u00ed que con un par de salidas extra el fin de semana, llegar al tope es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de lo que parece.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 m\u00e1s cambia el 31 de agosto?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un d\u00eda antes de que entre el tope, el TTC descontin\u00faa los pases mensuales Youth, Senior y Fair Pass Transit Discount, adem\u00e1s de los pases anuales de Youth y Senior.
