La demanda solicita una indemnizaci\u00f3n de 15.000 d\u00f3lares por persona, adem\u00e1s de 5.000 d\u00f3lares en da\u00f1os punitivos, lo que podr\u00eda elevar el monto total a m\u00e1s de 100 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Acceso no autorizado y posible venta de datos<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan el documento judicial, \u201clos historiales m\u00e9dicos de varios miles de usuarios del sistema de salud de Quebec fueron accedidos sin justificaci\u00f3n, a menudo por simple curiosidad o para compartir informaci\u00f3n con terceros\u201d. En uno de los casos citados, un profesional habr\u00eda vendido datos m\u00e9dicos a una compa\u00f1\u00eda de seguros, y se reportaron accesos incluso despu\u00e9s del fallecimiento de pacientes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El caso que dio origen a la demanda est\u00e1 relacionado con Genevi\u00e8ve D\u00e9ziel, madre de un joven que se suicid\u00f3 en 2019.
