As\u00ed lo inform\u00f3 en la ma\u00f1ana de este lunes, el propio tribunal independiente, a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan la junta laboral, su decisi\u00f3n se debi\u00f3 al incumplimiento de la orden de regreso al trabajo, por parte del Sindicato Canadiense de Empleados P\u00fablicos. Y por no haber acatado su determinaci\u00f3n el d\u00eda domingo, el movimiento de los trabajadores es ilegal, dijeron.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La orden fue emitida por la CIRB a pedido de la empresa Air Canada, y determinaba que los l\u00edderes sindicales enviaran de vuelta al trabajo a sus miembros antes del mediod\u00eda de este lunes. Asimismo, ordenaba que los propios, retornaran a sus puestos de trabajo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La disposici\u00f3n aprobada por la junta laboral y firmada por la vicepresidenta de la CIRB, Jennifer Webster, decretaba que los miembros de la unidad de negociaci\u00f3n del sindicato reanudaran sus funciones inmediatamente y que se abstuvieran de participar en lo que denominaron como una \u201chuelga ilegal\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>La compa\u00f1\u00eda cancel\u00f3 sus planes de reanudar sus operaciones<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras el incumplimiento de la orden de retorno a sus labores por parte de los auxiliares de vuelo, Air Canada suspendi\u00f3 sus planes de reanudar operaciones limitadas. Seg\u00fan la compa\u00f1\u00eda, han sido cancelados alrededor de 240 vuelos que estaban programados para operar esta tarde, pero que espera reanudar sus operaciones esta noche.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luego de la orden emitida por la Junta de Relaciones Industriales de Canad\u00e1, para que los auxiliares de vuelo regresaran a sus labores y que se iniciara un arbitraje vinculante, la aerol\u00ednea esperaba retomar sus actividades el domingo por la noche, no contaba con que los trabajadores continuaran en huelga y que su sindicato impugnara la orden de la CIRB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Sindicato de Empleados P\u00fablicos (CUPE), declar\u00f3 que la impugnaci\u00f3n de la orden se debe a que es flagrantemente inconstitucional y que viola los derechos que otorga la Carta a diez mil auxiliares de vuelo, siendo que el 70 por ciento son mujeres y el cien por ciento se ven obligados, cada vez que van a sus labores a realizar horas de trabajo no remuneradas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>El papel del gobierno federal en la crisis<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las autoridades federales intervinieron en el conflicto laboral, poco despu\u00e9s de iniciada la huelga en la madrugada del s\u00e1bado. Patty Hajdu, ministra de Empleo, asever\u00f3 que invocaba el Art\u00edculo 107 del C\u00f3digo Laboral para solicitar a la CIRB que sometiera a ambas partes a un arbitraje vinculante, mientras que ordenaba a patrones y empleados la vuelta al trabajo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, no ha quedado claro c\u00f3mo el gobierno federal responder\u00e1 al incumplimiento de la orden por parte del sindicato. La oficina de la ministra no ha respondido esta pregunta.
