Lo que s\u00ed se sabe, es la importancia que tienen estas oficinas en los m\u00e1s diversos tr\u00e1mites realizados por los habitantes de esta provincia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En las oficinas de Service Ontario, los usuarios pueden realizar de manera expedita una serie de tr\u00e1mites que les permiten disminuir la burocracia. Entre otros, pueden renovar sus licencias de conducir, sus tarjetas de servicio m\u00e9dico, as\u00ed como pueden solicitar permisos de estacionamiento accesible y acceder a un documento de identidad de Ontario.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 propone el gobierno<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan las autoridades provinciales, la idea es reforzar los servicios prestados por esta agencia, a trav\u00e9s de quioscos dentro de las tiendas Staples Canada. De hecho, en diciembre pasado, se empez\u00f3 a poner en pr\u00e1ctica un proyecto piloto en una de esas tiendas. En aquella ocasi\u00f3n, s\u00f3lo se habl\u00f3 de facilitar, no de cerrar unidades de Service Ontario.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El secretario de prensa del Ministerio de Entrega de Servicios P\u00fablicos y Comerciales, Doug Allingham, asever\u00f3 que llevaron en cuenta una serie de factores, adem\u00e1s, que realizaron consultas sobre el piloto, con socios minoristas, como el tama\u00f1o de las tiendas, la disponibilidad del estacionamiento y la cantidad de ubicaciones en la provincia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Cr\u00edticos cuestionan la medida<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Nuevo Partido Democr\u00e1tico, que es la oposici\u00f3n oficial en esta provincia, conden\u00f3 la propuesta de cerrar estos centros de servicios.
