En el momento en que la alcaldesa se dirig\u00eda a los medios, fue interrumpida por manifestantes que ondeaban banderas palestinas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><b>De qu\u00e9 se trata el evento<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cada a\u00f1o se realiza en la plaza frente a la municipalidad un evento de patinaje que cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n del jefe del ejecutivo local y otras autoridades del Concejo Municipal. La idea es motivar a los residentes a que participen de algunas actividades como forma de combatir el crudo invierno y la soledad que hace parte de la vida de muchas personas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 ped\u00edan los manifestantes<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los manifestantes ped\u00edan a trav\u00e9s de sus altavoces un alto al fuego en la Franja de Gaza y el fin de la guerra entre Israel y el grupo Hamas que ya ha causado millares de v\u00edctimas inocentes. En sus protestas, exhortaban a las autoridades canadienses a que se involucren en las campa\u00f1as por el fin de este conflicto en curso en el Medio Oriente.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 respondi\u00f3 Olivia Chow<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La alcaldesa de Toronto, Olivia Chow, interrumpi\u00f3 por un momento su discurso a los participantes del evento, para dirigirse a los manifestantes a quienes les dijo que ella ya se hab\u00eda expresado claramente a favor de un alto al fuego y les pidi\u00f3 que revisaran sus declaraciones al respecto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar del esclarecimiento de Chow, algunos manifestantes continuaron coreando, \u201cmientras patinas, caen bombas\u201d.
