Servir\u00e1 a las comunidades del East Bayfront y las Port Lands, dos de los corredores de mayor desarrollo urbano proyectado en la ciudad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La l\u00ednea tendr\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 50,000 viajes diarios cuando est\u00e9 en operaci\u00f3n y servir\u00e1 a m\u00e1s de 150,000 personas que vivir\u00e1n y trabajar\u00e1n en el frente costero oriental de la ciudad.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 importa esto a las familias que buscan vivienda en Toronto?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El corredor que activa el LRT tiene potencial para m\u00e1s de 75,000 unidades habitacionales. Sumado al acuerdo paralelo entre el gobierno federal y Ontario que reduce los cargos de desarrollo hasta un 50% en toda la provincia, el costo de construir en esa zona baja de manera significativa. En teor\u00eda, eso debe traducirse en m\u00e1s oferta y en precios m\u00e1s competitivos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para inmigrantes que buscan vivienda en Toronto con perspectiva de varios a\u00f1os, el eje este del waterfront es hoy el de mayor potencial de crecimiento. Es una zona en transformaci\u00f3n activa, no un barrio consolidado, lo que implica tanto oportunidades como incertidumbre sobre cu\u00e1ndo llega ese inventario al mercado.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo estar\u00e1 listo?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La estimaci\u00f3n es \u00abprincipios a mediados de la d\u00e9cada de 2030\u00bb. No es una soluci\u00f3n para el mercado actual, pero el hecho de que tenga financiamiento tripartito confirmado, algo que no ten\u00eda hasta marzo de 2026.
