Es una situaci\u00f3n compleja porque la gente est\u00e1 extremadamente preocupada, asustada e inquieta, dijo. El ministro agreg\u00f3 que el actual clima geopol\u00edtico y econ\u00f3mico ha sido impulsado en parte por el presidente estadounidense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras sus declaraciones, Bethlenfaldy fue preguntado si estaba considerando recortar los gastos, a lo que respondi\u00f3 que no, aclar\u00f3 que si bien es verdad, el gasto en este sector es insostenible, simplemente se tiene que afrontar la realidad de que no se puede seguir gastando a ese ritmo, justamente cuando la poblaci\u00f3n de Ontario se est\u00e1 estancando, dijo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo, el ministro declar\u00f3 que su objetivo es gestionar el gasto en salud de una manera eficiente, eficaz e innovadora y enfatiz\u00f3 que no pretende recortar los gastos. Explic\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n, que su propuesta incluye intentar reducir los tiempos de espera quir\u00fargicos, as\u00ed como facilitar la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en los pasillos y ampliar el acceso a los m\u00e9dicos de familia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El uso de la inteligencia artificial ayudar\u00e1 a optimizar el presupuesto de la salud, ponder\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26049 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/thespanishmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/690bcec6f3ed7.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"455\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>Otras preocupaciones del gobierno provincial<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El ministro de Finanzas declar\u00f3 que adem\u00e1s de las preocupaciones con el PIB, \u201caplanar\u201d el crecimiento demogr\u00e1fico es otro factor que su departamento est\u00e1 siguiendo de cerca para poder decidir c\u00f3mo asignar miles de millones de d\u00f3lares en gastos. El 85% del presupuesto se destina al gasto social y el 15% se destina a la infraestructura y econom\u00eda, manifest\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bethlenfalvy admiti\u00f3 que la provincia tiene una poblaci\u00f3n en desaceleraci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como un crecimiento econ\u00f3mico en desaceleraci\u00f3n, al tiempo que presenta una trayectoria de gasto social sin precedentes. Es una compleja situaci\u00f3n que hay que afrontarla, expres\u00f3. Estos problemas le preocupan mientras elabora el pr\u00f3ximo presupuesto que presentar\u00e1 en marzo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los comentarios del ministro de Finanzas, llegan justamente cuando los hospitales han advertido al gobierno que se enfrentan a un d\u00e9ficit estructural de mil millones de d\u00f3lares y que se est\u00e1n preparando para tomar decisiones dif\u00edciles a no ser que las autoridades provinciales incrementen la financiaci\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en el pr\u00f3ximo presupuesto.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Declaraciones generan preocupaciones<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hospitales de Ontario, los costos de la salud han aumentado un 6% anual, por el crecimiento y envejecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n y la inflaci\u00f3n, que obligan a sus unidades a reducir su capital y endeudarse.
