Esa norma rige tambi\u00e9n para los canadienses quienes deben registrarse ante el gobierno.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>C\u00f3mo proceder<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los canadienses que planifiquen viajar a Estados Unidos por negocios o placer y pretendan permanecer por m\u00e1s de 30 d\u00edas, deber\u00e1n someterse al llamado Requisito de Registro de Extranjeros. En la documentaci\u00f3n, no ser\u00e1 necesario que proporcionen sus huellas digitales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las autoridades federales aseveran que los visitantes canadienses no necesitan una visa para permanecer en Estados Unidos por un periodo de seis meses. Quienes quieran quedarse por m\u00e1s tiempo, deber\u00e1n requerir una visa B1 o B2. Los que deciden emigrar, deber\u00e1n tambi\u00e9n solicitar un formulario I-94, lo que pueden hacer al cruzar la frontera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por su parte, la Asociaci\u00f3n Canadiense de Invernantes, que congrega personas que van a ese pa\u00eds durante el invierno, dice que los viajeros pueden requerir dentro de los siete d\u00edas previos al viaje v\u00eda terrestre, el permiso provisional I-94. La tarifa es de US $6 d\u00f3lares.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Otros casos<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los usuarios de tarjetas Nexus deber\u00e1n seguir las mismas normas de cualquier visitante canadiense que desee quedarse en suelo estadounidense por m\u00e1s de 30 d\u00edas, es decir, al cruzar la frontera por tierra deben solicitar al agente de Aduanas y Protecci\u00f3n fronteriza un formulario I-94. Su tarjeta Nexus, le podr\u00eda aliviar de otros tipos de tr\u00e1mites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por otro lado, aquellos que lleguen a Estados Unidos por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea o mar\u00edtima y deseen permanecer por m\u00e1s de 30 d\u00edas, no necesitan solicitar el formulario I-94 con antelaci\u00f3n. El gobierno estadounidense dej\u00f3 claro que a estos viajeros, el funcionario de aduanas les entregar\u00e1 un I-94 electr\u00f3nico a su llegada a ese pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El hecho de que los visitantes canadienses hayan solicitado el permiso I-94 no es una garant\u00eda de su entrada a Estados Unidos y la tarifa no es reembolsable.
