Las autoridades declararon que est\u00e1n al tanto de estos deplorables actos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Son acciones que se vienen repitiendo hace alg\u00fan tiempo y no suceden s\u00f3lo en Toronto, ciudades vecinas tambi\u00e9n han sido v\u00edctimas del mismo delito. Es una forma que algunos individuos han encontrado de protestar contra las multas por exceso de velocidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan confirm\u00f3 la polic\u00eda a los medios de prensa, las c\u00e1maras de velocidad da\u00f1adas est\u00e1n ubicadas en The East Mall, cerca de Faludon Court; as\u00ed como los lentes de las c\u00e1maras en Sheppard Avenue East, al oeste de Don Mills Road; las de Pharmacy Avenue, cerca de Sherwood y Galworthy Avenue; y en McCowan Road, al sur de Sandhurst Circle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mientras tanto, los concejales debaten de qu\u00e9 manera podr\u00edan mejorar el sistema y hacerlo m\u00e1s justo para los conductores. Ellos est\u00e1n analizando junto a los proveedores, alternativas para encontrar soluciones y evitar que m\u00e1s adelante contin\u00faen estos actos de vandalismo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desde el inicio del presente a\u00f1o, el n\u00famero de c\u00e1maras de velocidad en Toronto, se ha duplicado. Actualmente, el programa cuenta con 150 dispositivos, las 75 c\u00e1maras que hab\u00eda en la ciudad el a\u00f1o pasado, generaron aproximadamente 40 millones de d\u00f3lares en multas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>La propuestas en el Concejo Municipal<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El concejal Anthony Perruzza, representante de Humber River-Black Creek, present\u00f3 una moci\u00f3n para suspender temporalmente la emisi\u00f3n de multas por las c\u00e1maras de velocidad, mientras se revisa el programa. Su pedido fue rechazado por el Concejo Municipal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La moci\u00f3n aprobada el jueves por el Concejo Municipal, fue la presentada por la alcaldesa Olivia Chow, que propon\u00eda que se instalaran se\u00f1ales m\u00e1s grandes, visibles y claras donde est\u00e1n ubicadas las c\u00e1maras.
