La producci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n sufri\u00f3 una contracci\u00f3n significativa, descendiendo un 4,8% hasta los 225,8 millones de hl, su punto m\u00e1s bajo en m\u00e1s de 60 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLa industria del vino est\u00e1 atravesando una tormenta perfecta\u201d, explic\u00f3 Giorgio Delgrosso, jefe de estad\u00edsticas de la OIV. \u201cA las preocupaciones sanitarias que han reducido el consumo en varios pa\u00edses, se suman factores econ\u00f3micos y geopol\u00edticos que agravan la situaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El informe se\u00f1ala que, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las fluctuaciones coyunturales, existen cambios estructurales y de largo plazo que est\u00e1n modificando los h\u00e1bitos de consumo. Desde 2019-2020, el precio promedio de una botella ha subido un 30%, mientras que el consumo global ha disminuido un 12% en el mismo periodo.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Din\u00e1mica mundial<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En Estados Unidos, el mayor mercado mundial del vino, el consumo baj\u00f3 un 5,8% en 2024, alcanzando los 33,3 millones de hl. Delgrosso advirti\u00f3 que los aranceles impuestos bajo la administraci\u00f3n de Donald Trump, actualmente suspendidos, podr\u00edan volver a imponerse, generando un impacto severo sobre el comercio. En China, el repunte pospandemia no ha sido suficiente para alcanzar los niveles previos al Covid 19. Europa, que representa casi la mitad del consumo global, experiment\u00f3 una ca\u00edda del 2,8%, con Francia reduciendo su consumo en un 3,6%. S\u00f3lo Espa\u00f1a y Portugal mostraron un crecimiento en la demanda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En cuanto a la producci\u00f3n, las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas extremas jugaron un rol crucial. Mientras que Italia se consolid\u00f3 como el mayor productor mundial con 44 millones de hl, Francia vio caer su producci\u00f3n un 23 %, hasta los 36,1 millones de hl, el volumen m\u00e1s bajo desde 1957. Espa\u00f1a produjo 31 millones de hl y Estados Unidos 21,1 millones, un 17,2 % menos que el a\u00f1o anterior, afectado por olas de calor extremo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desde el sector, voces como la cadena francesa Nicolas apuntan a un cambio generacional: \u201cLa gente ya no bebe en plan festivo y los j\u00f3venes consumen menos que sus padres\u201d, indic\u00f3 la empresa a la agencia AFP. Sin embargo, remarcan una tendencia hacia el consumo m\u00e1s consciente: \u201cSe bebe menos, pero se elige mejor, y por eso el consumidor est\u00e1 dispuesto a pagar m\u00e1s\u201d.
