Este compromiso se implementar\u00e1 bajo un c\u00f3digo de conducta actualizado, que ahora estar\u00e1 integrado en la Ley de Servicios Digitales (DSA) de la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El c\u00f3digo, que fue establecido inicialmente en 2016 como un acuerdo voluntario, ha sido revisado para alinearse con los estrictos est\u00e1ndares de la DSA. Entre las plataformas que han suscrito este compromiso se encuentran tambi\u00e9n Dailymotion, Instagram, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Snapchat, TikTok y Twitch, entre otras. La nueva normativa busca garantizar que las empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas adopten medidas concretas para abordar el contenido ilegal y da\u00f1ino en sus servicios.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uno de los aspectos destacados del nuevo c\u00f3digo es la inclusi\u00f3n de entidades especializadas, como organizaciones sin fines de lucro y organismos p\u00fablicos con experiencia en la materia, para supervisar c\u00f3mo las plataformas gestionan las notificaciones sobre discursos de odio. Seg\u00fan el acuerdo, al menos dos tercios de las notificaciones recibidas por estas entidades deber\u00e1n ser evaluadas por las empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas en un plazo m\u00e1ximo de 24 horas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las compa\u00f1\u00edas tambi\u00e9n se han comprometido a emplear herramientas de detecci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica para identificar y reducir la presencia de discursos de odio en sus plataformas. Adem\u00e1s, proporcionar\u00e1n informaci\u00f3n detallada sobre el alcance org\u00e1nico y algor\u00edtmico de dicho contenido antes de su eliminaci\u00f3n, con el objetivo de garantizar la transparencia en su manejo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Otro cambio significativo es la obligaci\u00f3n de presentar datos desglosados a nivel de pa\u00eds, clasificando los discursos de odio seg\u00fan categor\u00edas como raza, etnia, religi\u00f3n, identidad de g\u00e9nero u orientaci\u00f3n sexual. Estas estad\u00edsticas permitir\u00e1n una evaluaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s precisa del impacto de las medidas implementadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Ley de Servicios Digitales exige a las empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas que tomen medidas efectivas contra el contenido ilegal en sus plataformas, y el cumplimiento del c\u00f3digo actualizado ser\u00e1 un factor clave en la supervisi\u00f3n y aplicaci\u00f3n de la ley por parte de los reguladores de la UE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Henna Virkkunen, comisaria europea de Tecnolog\u00eda, subray\u00f3 la importancia de esta iniciativa: \u201cEn Europa no hay lugar para el odio ilegal, ni en la red ni fuera de ella.
