Seg\u00fan las autoridades locales, al menos 36 personas perdieron la vida y otras 30 resultaron heridas en el incidente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El derrumbe ocurri\u00f3 alrededor de las 2 am del mi\u00e9rcoles, cuando un tramo de 17,9 metros de la carretera cedi\u00f3, llevando consigo a 23 veh\u00edculos que cayeron a un pozo. El suceso tuvo lugar en la carretera entre la ciudad de Meizhou y el condado de Dabu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las intensas precipitaciones que azotaron la regi\u00f3n en las \u00faltimas semanas, junto con los efectos de las inundaciones y granizo, podr\u00edan haber contribuido al desastre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los informes sugieren que las persistentes lluvias debilitaron el suelo debajo de la carretera, lo que finalmente provoc\u00f3 su colapso.
