Este informe no considera las recientes ofertas federales de vivienda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan la PBO, se necesitar\u00eda construir en el pa\u00eds, 181 mil viviendas m\u00e1s cada a\u00f1o, fuera de las que se construyen actualmente. Esa es una de las conclusiones de la investigaci\u00f3n, basada en determinados puntos de referencia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 otros datos aporta el informe de la PBO<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En el estudio no se ha tenido en cuenta el l\u00edmite impuesto por las autoridades federales a los residentes temporales, ni los esfuerzos de Ottawa para reforzar la oferta de viviendas. El gobierno ha hecho una serie de anuncios sobre vivienda antes del presupuesto federal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por otra parte, la Corporaci\u00f3n de Hipotecas y Vivienda (CMHC), asevera que para restablecer la asequibilidad a los niveles de 2003-2004, el pa\u00eds necesitar\u00e1 construir 3,5 millones de viviendas adicionales, de esta forma se podr\u00eda alcanzar la meta el a\u00f1o 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estos n\u00fameros m\u00e1s elevados que los presentados por la PBO, se justifican dijo Yves Giroux porque su oficina se centr\u00f3 exclusivamente en cerrar la brecha entre la oferta y la demanda. Para nadie es secreto que para realizar estas construcciones adicionales se requiere capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En verdad, ser\u00edan necesarios miles de millones de d\u00f3lares en pr\u00e9stamos de bajo costo para poder estimular m\u00e1s construcciones de alquiler, tambi\u00e9n se requerir\u00e1n fondos para el financiamiento de infraestructuras tanto en provincias y territorios, como en municipios.
