Este a\u00f1o, el Mississauga Latin Festival celebra su edici\u00f3n n\u00famero 18 del 7 al 9 de agosto, y promete ser una de las m\u00e1s concurridas hasta la fecha.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo y a qu\u00e9 hora?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El festival se extiende durante tres d\u00edas, con horarios distintos cada jornada:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">viernes 7 de agosto, de 5:00 p.m. a 11:00 p.m.;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">s\u00e1bado 8 de agosto, de 12:00 p.m. a 11:00 p.m.;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">domingo 9 de agosto, de 12:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m., con un colorido desfile a la 1:00 p.m.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La entrada es completamente gratuita.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 va a haber?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El festival combina m\u00fasica en vivo, baile, arte y gastronom\u00eda latinoamericana en un solo espacio p\u00fablico. Entre lo que ofrece esta edici\u00f3n:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">m\u00e1s de 65 vendedores de comida, artesan\u00edas y productos latinoamericanos;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">entretenimiento en vivo durante los tres d\u00edas, incluyendo m\u00fasica y espect\u00e1culos de folclore;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">el desfile del domingo, uno de los momentos m\u00e1s esperados por las familias;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">actividades pensadas para todas las edades, desde ni\u00f1os hasta adultos mayores.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Por qu\u00e9 este festival importa m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la fiesta<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En una regi\u00f3n donde vive una parte importante de la comunidad hispana del GTA, eventos como este cumplen una funci\u00f3n que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del entretenimiento: son de los pocos espacios masivos y completamente gratuitos donde la cultura latinoamericana se celebra abiertamente y sin costo de entrada, algo especialmente valioso para familias que est\u00e1n reconstruyendo su vida econ\u00f3mica en un pa\u00eds nuevo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tambi\u00e9n es una vitrina para decenas de peque\u00f1os negocios y artesanos latinos de la zona, muchos de los cuales dependen de este tipo de eventos para darse a conocer fuera de su c\u00edrculo inmediato.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>C\u00f3mo planear la visita<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quienes quieran asistir en familia deben tomar en cuenta que Celebration Square, en el centro de Mississauga, es accesible en transporte p\u00fablico desde distintos puntos del GTA, y que el fin de semana suele registrar gran afluencia, especialmente durante el desfile del domingo.
