Aunque todav\u00eda no se ha anunciado una fecha exacta para la implementaci\u00f3n, las autoridades prev\u00e9n que la medida entre en vigor durante junio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La decisi\u00f3n obligar\u00e1 a miles de solicitantes de pa\u00edses que pierdan estos servicios a desplazarse a otras naciones para realizar entrevistas y completar tr\u00e1mites migratorios, lo que podr\u00eda aumentar considerablemente los costos y tiempos de espera para quienes buscan viajar a Estados Unidos por turismo, estudios, negocios o reunificaci\u00f3n familiar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre las sedes que permanecer\u00e1n como centros regionales de procesamiento se encuentran ciudades como Nairobi (Kenia), Lagos (Nigeria), Johannesburgo (Sud\u00e1frica), Accra (Ghana), Dakar (Senegal) y Addis Abeba (Etiop\u00eda), entre otras.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Medida se suma a otras restricciones migratorias<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La reducci\u00f3n de servicios consulares forma parte de una serie de acciones adoptadas por Washington para limitar la inmigraci\u00f3n y controlar el incumplimiento de condiciones de visado.
