La medida afecta a millones de personas inscritas en el sistema, creado para apoyar a residentes sin seguro dental privado y con ingresos familiares inferiores a 90.000 d\u00f3lares canadienses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De acuerdo con el gobierno de Canad\u00e1, quienes no completen el proceso de renovaci\u00f3n perder\u00e1n la cobertura el 30 de junio y deber\u00e1n presentar una nueva solicitud para volver al programa. Adem\u00e1s, cualquier tratamiento dental recibido durante el per\u00edodo sin cobertura no ser\u00e1 reembolsado retroactivamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El proceso de renovaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 habilitado desde el 15 de abril y puede realizarse en l\u00ednea o por tel\u00e9fono. Los usuarios deber\u00e1n confirmar informaci\u00f3n personal, presentar su declaraci\u00f3n de impuestos m\u00e1s reciente y demostrar que contin\u00faan sin acceso a seguros dentales privados, incluso si estos son ofrecidos por empleadores, pensiones o asociaciones profesionales.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Cambios en pagos y controles de elegibilidad<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las autoridades advirtieron que los niveles de pago podr\u00edan modificarse seg\u00fan los ingresos familiares actualizados de cada beneficiario. El programa cubre distintos porcentajes del costo de los tratamientos dependiendo de la situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica del solicitante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El gobierno canadiense tambi\u00e9n reforz\u00f3 los controles para verificar que los beneficiarios realmente no tengan acceso a seguros dentales privados. Para ello, revisar\u00e1 informaci\u00f3n tributaria y formularios laborales como los T4 y T4A.
