Educadores y administradores coinciden en que, utilizada de manera adecuada, la tecnolog\u00eda puede contribuir a mejorar los resultados educativos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualmente, herramientas de IA generativa como asistentes conversacionales y plataformas de an\u00e1lisis permiten a los estudiantes comprender mejor contenidos complejos, apoyar procesos de escritura y acceder a orientaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica de forma m\u00e1s inmediata. En muchos casos, las universidades han comenzado a permitir su uso con fines editoriales y de apoyo, siempre que no sustituyan el trabajo intelectual del estudiante ni generen directamente los contenidos evaluados.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este cambio de enfoque contrasta con la reacci\u00f3n inicial que se produjo tras la masificaci\u00f3n de estas tecnolog\u00edas a partir de 2022, cuando las instituciones enfrentaron desaf\u00edos para actualizar sus normas de integridad acad\u00e9mica y garantizar la autor\u00eda de los trabajos. Con el tiempo, las pol\u00edticas se han ido ajustando y tanto estudiantes como docentes han comenzado a adaptarse a la presencia permanente de la IA en los campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Mayor adopci\u00f3n y nuevos usos en la educaci\u00f3n superior<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El uso de IA en actividades de aprendizaje ha aumentado de forma significativa. De acuerdo con el Informe Pancanadiense sobre Aprendizaje Digital de 2024, el 41% de los educadores declar\u00f3 utilizar herramientas de IA generativa en actividades acad\u00e9micas, frente al 12% registrado en 2023. Adem\u00e1s de apoyar a los estudiantes, la tecnolog\u00eda tambi\u00e9n se utiliza para revisar y mejorar planes de estudio, comparar contenidos entre instituciones y optimizar procesos administrativos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algunas universidades comenzaron a experimentar con sistemas basados en inteligencia artificial incluso antes del auge reciente. En distintos pa\u00edses se han aplicado algoritmos para identificar tempranamente a estudiantes en riesgo acad\u00e9mico, as\u00ed como chatbots para responder consultas administrativas, lo que ha permitido reducir cargas de trabajo y mejorar la eficiencia de los servicios de apoyo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El debate en torno a la IA tambi\u00e9n ha abierto reflexiones m\u00e1s amplias sobre el rol de la educaci\u00f3n postsecundaria. Si bien el acceso a la informaci\u00f3n es hoy m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido y sofisticado, las universidades sostienen que su funci\u00f3n va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la transmisi\u00f3n de conocimientos.
