La medida ha generado rechazo por parte de sindicatos y familias afectadas, quienes cuestionan su legalidad y efectos discriminatorios.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La directiva, emitida el 9 de julio, establece que solo los trabajadores extranjeros con permisos de trabajo cerrados, es decir, vinculados a un empleador espec\u00edfico, pueden acceder al sistema de guarder\u00edas subsidiadas, cuyo costo diario es de 9,35 d\u00f3lares canadienses. Por el contrario, quienes poseen un permiso de trabajo abierto, que permite trabajar para cualquier empleador en Canad\u00e1, quedan excluidos del beneficio.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Reacci\u00f3n a una pol\u00edtica considerada sorpresiva y discriminatoria<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La decisi\u00f3n gubernamental tom\u00f3 por sorpresa a muchas guarder\u00edas y a las familias usuarias del sistema. De acuerdo con un sindicato que representa a los trabajadores del sector, la medida contradice pr\u00e1cticas aplicadas durante a\u00f1os y podr\u00eda llevar a la expulsi\u00f3n de cientos de ni\u00f1os, obligando a sus padres a abandonar sus empleos para cuidar de ellos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aunque el gobierno sostiene que se trata de una norma de larga data, abogados de familias inmigrantes han enviado notificaciones formales en las que argumentan que la nueva interpretaci\u00f3n contradice la reglamentaci\u00f3n vigente, no modificada desde hace a\u00f1os.
