Para los que renueven en 2026, el incremento en sus pagos ser\u00eda del 6 por ciento. Es decir, los reajustes en las mensualidades podr\u00edan variar seg\u00fan la fecha de renovaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por otro lado, para los prestatarios que planean renovar hipotecas con un tipo de inter\u00e9s variable, la situaci\u00f3n es muy diferente. Para los se encuentren en esa condici\u00f3n, una renovaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda suponer una reducci\u00f3n de los pagos mensuales de entre un 5% y un 7%.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>La principal raz\u00f3n de estos aumentos<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La raz\u00f3n principal de los aumentos es el \u00edndice de inflaci\u00f3n, que ha provocado que el costo de vida haya sufrido un incremento considerable desde que se inici\u00f3 la pandemia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desde el a\u00f1o 2020, la tasa de inflaci\u00f3n ha aumentado un 3,68 por ciento, es decir, que un bien que costaba 100 d\u00f3lares ese a\u00f1o, costar\u00eda alrededor de 120 d\u00f3lares en 2025. Estos datos son oficiales y los prove\u00e9 la calculadora de inflaci\u00f3n del Banco de Canad\u00e1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La empresa Ratehub, que ofrece una plataforma para comparar productos financieros como hipotecas, considera que este aumento de los pagos podr\u00eda significar que cada a\u00f1o, los prestatarios tengan que pagar un promedio de aproximadamente 5 mil d\u00f3lares m\u00e1s.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Muchos prestatarios no pueden pagar sus hipotecas<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muchos canadienses que adquirieron una vivienda durante la pandemia y que ahora est\u00e1n renovando sus hipotecas con un tipo de inter\u00e9s variable, est\u00e1n espantados con los pagos.
