La ceremonia ser\u00e1 presidida por la gobernadora general, Mary Simon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El flamante primer ministro presentar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n su gabinete, que ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s reducido que el de su antecesor, seg\u00fan fuentes period\u00edsticas. Asimismo, trascendi\u00f3 que algunos de los actuales ministros permanecer\u00e1n en sus cargos o formar\u00e1n parte del nuevo gabinete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mark Carney ha prometido construir una econom\u00eda m\u00e1s fuerte y unida y que luchar\u00e1 para que se eliminen las barreras interprovinciales. Asimismo, espera reforzar la seguridad en las fronteras y diversificar y ampliar las relaciones comerciales de Canad\u00e1 con socios fiables.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>El legado de Justin Trudeau<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la ma\u00f1ana de este viernes, Justin Trudeau present\u00f3 oficialmente su renuncia en una reuni\u00f3n privada con la gobernadora general. El ahora ex primer ministro, deja su cargo tras casi diez a\u00f1os en el poder, v\u00edctima del desgaste natural generado por el tiempo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trudeau ser\u00e1 recordado como el l\u00edder que promovi\u00f3 la equidad de g\u00e9nero en el gabinete, que implement\u00f3 el Subsidio Canadiense por Hijos, que gobern\u00f3 durante la pandemia y que legaliz\u00f3 el cannabis. Otros nombres vienen baraj\u00e1ndose, entre ellos el del ministro del Medio Ambiente, Steven Guilbeault. Se supo tambi\u00e9n, que Jean-Yves Duclos, ministro de Servicios P\u00fablicos y Adquisiciones, no har\u00e1 parte del\u00a0 nuevo gabinete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es muy probable que el nuevo primer ministro, Mark Carney, convoque a elecciones antes del 24 de marzo, fecha en que retorna el Parlamento.
