Esto ha provocado que la capital colombiana experimente su primer racionamiento de agua en d\u00e9cadas, siendo la medida m\u00e1s dr\u00e1stica desde 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El embalse San Rafael, ubicado en el municipio de La Calera, se encuentra a 24 kil\u00f3metros de Bogot\u00e1 y normalmente tiene una capacidad para 67 millones de metros c\u00fabicos. Sin embargo, el lunes pasado apenas alcanzaba los 12,5 millones de metros c\u00fabicos, lo que representa su nivel m\u00e1s bajo registrado.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfC\u00f3mo afectar\u00e1 los racionamientos en Bogot\u00e1?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00e1s de ocho millones de personas se ver\u00e1n afectadas por este racionamiento de agua, que consistir\u00e1 en restricciones del servicio durante 24 horas cada 10 d\u00edas en diferentes zonas de la ciudad y sus municipios aleda\u00f1os. La medida se aplicar\u00e1 de manera continua, con revisiones cada 15 d\u00edas para evaluar su efectividad y la posibilidad de ajustes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El alcalde de Bogot\u00e1, Carlos Fernando Gal\u00e1n, advirti\u00f3 sobre la importancia de tomar medidas para aumentar la capacidad de almacenamiento de agua en la ciudad y as\u00ed enfrentar futuras crisis clim\u00e1ticas con mayor preparaci\u00f3n. Actualmente, el 70% del agua que consume Bogot\u00e1 proviene del sistema Chingaza, que incluye los embalses de Chuza y San Rafael.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jos\u00e9 Daniel Pab\u00f3n, docente del Departamento de Geograf\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, explic\u00f3 que la sequ\u00eda es resultado del fen\u00f3meno de El Ni\u00f1o, que ha provocado un d\u00e9ficit de precipitaciones en el pa\u00eds. Esta situaci\u00f3n ha llevado a la necesidad de implementar medidas de largo plazo para asegurar el abastecimiento de agua en el futuro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A nivel nacional, el gobierno ha establecido una mesa permanente de seguimiento de los niveles de los embalses, ya que en promedio se encuentran al 31% de su capacidad, apenas 4,7 puntos por encima del nivel cr\u00edtico de referencia.
