Ha sido la primera ca\u00edda de este sector en cinco meses e incluye la venta de repuestos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta ca\u00edda de las ventas al detalle en enero, equivale en dinero a 67 mil millones de d\u00f3lares, asimismo, el reporte muestra que de los nueve subsectores considerados, las ventas cayeron en tres. Las ventas de veh\u00edculos nuevos cayeron un 3 por ciento y las de repuestos un 2,4 por ciento, mientras que la venta de coches usados aumentaron un 4,5 por ciento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan algunos economistas, tras un incremento en las ventas del 0,9 por ciento en diciembre, impulsado por las fiestas de final de a\u00f1o, esta ca\u00edda en las ventas en enero era esperada, la mayor\u00eda pronosticaba que ser\u00eda ligeramente mayor, es decir de un 0,4 por ciento. En t\u00e9rminos de volumen, las ventas aumentaron un 0,2 por ciento, dice la agencia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 otros datos aporta Estad\u00edsticas Canad\u00e1<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La agencia p\u00fablica, realiz\u00f3 una proyecci\u00f3n preliminar de las ventas en febrero que muestra que es posible que en ese mes, las ventas hayan aumentado en un 0,1 por ciento. A pesar de que reconocen que s\u00f3lo han investigado la mitad de los rubros que consideran habitualmente, los investigadores dicen que estos n\u00fameros pueden ser alentadores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por otro lado, especialistas afirman que estos datos muestran que el gasto de los consumidores est\u00e1 luchando por crecer en una coyuntura dif\u00edcil, debido a las elevadas tasas de inter\u00e9s y no parece darse por vencido. Asimismo, destacan que las ventas de los alimentos y las bebidas tambi\u00e9n se contrajeron en un 0,9 por ciento, en ese periodo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como hemos informado en este medio, en su esfuerzo por controlar la inflaci\u00f3n, el Banco de Canad\u00e1 ha mantenido su tasa de inter\u00e9s clave en el 5 por ciento desde julio pasado, de esta manera ha contribuido a generar una desaceleraci\u00f3n sostenida de los precios al consumidor, con una inflaci\u00f3n anual general menor al tres por ciento, durante enero y febrero.
