La moci\u00f3n fue finalmente aprobada, no sin antes sufrir cambios que desfiguraron significativamente la propuesta inicial de los nuevos dem\u00f3cratas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las discusiones entre los parlamentarios durante la sesi\u00f3n, mostraron cuan divididos se encuentran en relaci\u00f3n a este tema, los \u00faltimos acontecimientos en la Faja de Gaza han puesto en tela de juicio muchas de las ideas que defend\u00edan los principales partidos de manera uniforme. Parece que las fisuras sociales sobre el tema, se han trasladado a Ottawa.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 propon\u00eda el NDP<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La moci\u00f3n original presentada por el NDP, propon\u00eda entre otras medidas, el reconocimiento inmediato del Estado Palestino, asimismo, un alto al fuego inmediato en el conflicto entre Israel y Hamas, tambi\u00e9n demandaba una mayor ayuda humanitaria a la Franja de Gaza y un embargo sobre cualquier comercio de armas con el gobierno de Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta propuesta gener\u00f3 la ira de representantes de varios partidos, los conservadores se opusieron en masa y durante horas se debati\u00f3, muchas veces de manera emocional, entre el derecho palestino a la autodeterminaci\u00f3n y el derecho de Israel a defenderse. Algunos parlamentarios reclamaron de haber tenido poco tiempo para debatir y votar.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 se aprob\u00f3 finalmente<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras dimes y diretes de manera apasionada, finalmente se aprob\u00f3 por 204 votos a favor y 117 en contra, un texto elaborado por los liberales que notoriamente atenu\u00f3 la moci\u00f3n inicial. La versi\u00f3n final, insta a Canad\u00e1 a \u201cbuscar activamente\u201d el establecimiento de un Estado Palestino como parte de una soluci\u00f3n negociada de dos Estados.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las reacciones no se hicieron esperar, el l\u00edder del NDP, Jagmeet Singh, escribi\u00f3 en una red social, que su partido hab\u00eda obligado a los liberales a dejar de vender armas al gobierno israel\u00ed, apoyar a la Corte Internacional de Justicia e imponer sanciones a los colonos extremistas en Cisjordania.
