El actual presidente, se enfrent\u00f3 a unas primarias consideradas simb\u00f3licas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por su parte, el ex presidente Donald Trump, se enfrent\u00f3 a algunos precandidatos con capital electoral, sin embargo, desde el inicio de las primarias republicanas, todo indicaba que el ex presidente las vencer\u00eda con alguna facilidad y eso fue lo que sucedi\u00f3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 sigue tras las primarias<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En Estados Unidos, los candidatos escogidos por sus partidos deben someterse a una votaci\u00f3n en sus respectivas convenciones, las mismas que los legitimar\u00e1n como sus representantes en las elecciones. Las convenciones se llevar\u00e1n a cabo en el verano y hoy en d\u00eda estos encuentros son pr\u00e1cticamente procedimientos ceremoniales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la presente campa\u00f1a, las primarias no significaron mucho para los candidatos, ambos sab\u00edan que contaban con las preferencias de sus correligionarios y desde el inicio ya ven\u00edan haciendo campa\u00f1a para las elecciones presidenciales del cinco de noviembre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar de que apenas estos dos partidos tienen posibilidades reales de vencer la disputa, en Estados Unidos existen alrededor de 66 partidos pol\u00edticos, algunos de ellos apenas con representaciones regionales, otros que s\u00ed suelen presentar candidaturas presidenciales, pero no gozan de los recursos necesarios, ni de la cobertura medi\u00e1tica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre los m\u00e1s presentes y que tambi\u00e9n suelen realizar sus elecciones primarias est\u00e1n, el Partido Verde, el Partido Libertario, el Partido por el Socialismo y la Liberaci\u00f3n y el Partido de la Constituci\u00f3n, asimismo, es permitido que algunos candidatos se presenten de forma independiente.
