La consulta p\u00fablica sobre esta reforma cierra este domingo 24 de mayo.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 consiste el cambio propuesto?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El IRCC quiere incorporar un &#8216;factor de ocupaci\u00f3n de alto salario&#8217; al Sistema de Clasificaci\u00f3n Integral (CRS). La propuesta otorgar\u00eda puntos adicionales a candidatos con experiencia laboral canadiense o una oferta de empleo en ocupaciones que pagan el doble, 1.5 veces o 1.3 veces el salario mediano nacional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Profesiones como medicina, ingenier\u00eda y operaci\u00f3n de maquinaria pesada son ejemplos de las que podr\u00edan beneficiarse. El umbral se calcula sobre el salario de la ocupaci\u00f3n, no el salario individual, para evitar discriminaci\u00f3n por g\u00e9nero, regi\u00f3n o circunstancias personales.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el gobierno quiere hacer este cambio?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Canad\u00e1 enfrenta una escasez cr\u00edtica de profesionales en sectores clave. Con esta reforma, el Express Entry busca atraer a inmigrantes m\u00e1s especializados, quienes se integran m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido al mercado laboral y contribuyen m\u00e1s a la econom\u00eda desde el primer a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El contexto tambi\u00e9n importa: con 112,000 empleos perdidos en 2026 y el desempleo en 6.9%, el gobierno quiere asegurarse de que los nuevos inmigrantes llenen vac\u00edos en sectores especializados, m\u00e1s que competir en empleos de menor calificaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfEsto perjudica a quienes tienen salarios m\u00e1s bajos?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No necesariamente. El IRCC aclar\u00f3 que los candidatos en ocupaciones por debajo del umbral de alto salario seguir\u00e1n siendo elegibles para el Express Entry. Podr\u00e1n recibir una invitaci\u00f3n con base en otros factores del CRS: edad, educaci\u00f3n, dominio del idioma y experiencia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, la brecha de puntos entre ocupaciones bien pagadas y las dem\u00e1s podr\u00eda ampliarse, haciendo m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil para ciertos perfiles competir en los sorteos generales sin una categor\u00eda espec\u00edfica de invitaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo entra en vigor?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El paquete completo de reformas al Express Entry se implementar\u00eda en un plazo de 12 a 18 meses.
