En caso de no prorrogarse, los e-scooters quedar\u00edan autom\u00e1ticamente prohibidos en calles y aceras municipales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un informe t\u00e9cnico presentado al concejo recomienda extender el programa hasta el 27 de noviembre de 2029, pero acompa\u00f1ado de reglas m\u00e1s estrictas, campa\u00f1as educativas, mayor control y sanciones dirigidas tambi\u00e9n a los padres de menores que incumplan la normativa.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Propuesta incluye sanciones a padres y mayor control en calles<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El documento recoge la opini\u00f3n de la ciudadan\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de 650 encuestas, que reflejan una percepci\u00f3n dividida: un 29% de los participantes tiene una opini\u00f3n positiva sobre los e-scooters, un 22% negativa y cerca de la mitad se mantiene neutral. Entre las principales preocupaciones destacan el uso por menores de edad, la falta de casco y la circulaci\u00f3n en aceras.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La propuesta normativa plantea que los padres sean responsables si menores de 16 a\u00f1os utilizan estos dispositivos en espacios municipales. Las multas podr\u00edan alcanzar los 100 d\u00f3lares, con posibilidad de duplicarse en caso de reincidencia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hasta ahora, la aplicaci\u00f3n de la normativa se ha basado principalmente en denuncias, pero el informe prev\u00e9 un cambio hacia un enfoque m\u00e1s activo. En coordinaci\u00f3n con el <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">London Police Service<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, se desplegar\u00e1n agentes municipales en parques y zonas clave para informar a los usuarios y aplicar sanciones cuando sea necesario.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El informe tambi\u00e9n detalla el impacto en seguridad desde 2025, con ocho colisiones reportadas a la polic\u00eda y 193 lesiones registradas por centros de salud locales, de las cuales 34 requirieron hospitalizaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualmente, las reglas en la ciudad exigen que los usuarios tengan al menos 16 a\u00f1os, utilicen casco entre los 16 y 17 a\u00f1os, respeten un l\u00edmite de velocidad de 24 km\/h y circulen \u00fanicamente en calles con l\u00edmites de hasta 50 km\/h, ciclov\u00edas o v\u00edas de uso compartido, evitando aceras y \u00e1reas sensibles.
