Se han considerado la escasez de vivienda, la contaminaci\u00f3n y la inseguridad alimentaria.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El objetivo de dicha instituci\u00f3n es abogar por los derechos y el bienestar infantil, mostrando las vulnerabilidades de los ni\u00f1os para generar un cambio positivo y mejorar la salud y seguridad de los infantes canadienses, as\u00ed como llamar la atenci\u00f3n de las autoridades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La fundadora de Children First Canada, Sara Austin, dice que se observa a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o que la vida de los ni\u00f1os est\u00e1 empeorando de manera desenfrenada. A\u00f1adi\u00f3, que de no tomarse medidas urgentes, las consecuencias a largo plazo para su desarrollo y su bienestar ser\u00e1n lamentables. Tambi\u00e9n la prosperidad general de Canad\u00e1 como naci\u00f3n estar\u00e1 comprometida.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Algunas cifras del estudio<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan Raising Canada, m\u00e1s del 70% de los j\u00f3venes canadienses, en la franja etaria que va de los 12 a los 17 a\u00f1os sufrieron alguna forma de acoso escolar en 2024. Asimismo, m\u00e1s del 13% de los ni\u00f1os viv\u00edan hacia finales del pasado a\u00f1o, en la pobreza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Del porcentaje de j\u00f3venes que respondieron que sufr\u00edan acoso escolar, el 42% informaron que eran victimizados cada mes, a veces m\u00e1s de una vez. De estos, el 25% declar\u00f3 haber sido v\u00edctima durante todo el a\u00f1o pasado del denominado ciberacoso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De los estudiantes que respondieron haber sufrido ciberacoso, el 16% declararon que fueron amenazados o insultados en l\u00ednea o por mensaje de texto y un 13% afirm\u00f3 que fue excluido deliberadamente de una comunidad en l\u00ednea. Para los ni\u00f1os es m\u00e1s complicado poder escapar del ciberacoso a diferencia del acoso escolar convencional del que podr\u00edan evadirse.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Sobre la pobreza y la salud mental<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El estudio revela que a finales del a\u00f1o pasado, alrededor de 1,4 millones de ni\u00f1os viv\u00edan en la pobreza en Canad\u00e1.
