El proyecto, denominado <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pathways on Park<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, surge tras el desalojo de un campamento instalado en terrenos de servicios p\u00fablicos municipales, lo que puso en evidencia la magnitud del problema.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las autoridades locales confirmaron que actualmente unas 40 personas ya se encuentran alojadas en las unidades, mientras que la capacidad restante ser\u00e1 asignada en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas. Sin embargo, no todos los residentes del campamento podr\u00e1n acceder a estas instalaciones, por lo que se est\u00e1n realizando gestiones adicionales para vincular a m\u00e1s personas en situaci\u00f3n de calle.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Servicios integrales y posibilidad de expansi\u00f3n<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El programa no exige sobriedad como requisito de ingreso, aunque contempla la participaci\u00f3n en servicios integrales de apoyo para facilitar la transici\u00f3n hacia una vivienda permanente y sostenible. El modelo incorpora acompa\u00f1amiento en salud mental, adicciones y gesti\u00f3n de casos, \u00e1reas consideradas prioritarias por las autoridades municipales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chatham-Kent estima que actualmente cerca de 250 personas viven sin hogar en la comunidad, un incremento significativo en los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os.
