En 2024, el 69% de las mujeres entre 25 y 69 a\u00f1os reportaron haberse hecho la prueba en los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os, una ca\u00edda en comparaci\u00f3n con el 74% registrado en 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La reducci\u00f3n fue m\u00e1s pronunciada entre las mujeres mayores. Solo el 64% de las mujeres de entre 50 y 69 a\u00f1os dijeron haberse hecho la prueba recientemente, frente al 70% de las mujeres de entre 25 y 34 a\u00f1os y el 75% de las de entre 35 y 49 a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Desigualdades geogr\u00e1ficas y transici\u00f3n a pruebas de VPH<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las cifras tambi\u00e9n variaron seg\u00fan la provincia. Isla del Pr\u00edncipe Eduardo, Nueva Escocia, Quebec y Columbia Brit\u00e1nica se ubicaron por debajo del promedio nacional, mientras que Alberta, Saskatchewan y Ontario superaron ese umbral.
