El aumento verificado, es consecuencia de esa brecha, afirma el doctor Park.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Cu\u00e1l es la situaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sistema de salud de Ontario, no se da abasto y alrededor de 2,3 millones de habitantes no tienen un m\u00e9dico de familia. Es un n\u00famero elevado de personas que est\u00e1n al margen de un diagn\u00f3stico temprano de enfermedades como la demencia, por no acceder al sistema.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El doctor Park, cita como ejemplo que desde el 2010, para satisfacer las necesidades de los pacientes con demencia, se habr\u00edan necesitado al menos dos millones de visitas de atenci\u00f3n domiciliaria, sin embargo, las estad\u00edsticas muestran que se realizaron apenas 82 mil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan el presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n M\u00e9dica de Ontario, en el caso de las enfermedades mentales, la detecci\u00f3n temprana es fundamental. La demencia no se inicia el d\u00eda del diagn\u00f3stico, normalmente est\u00e1 presente por a\u00f1os o d\u00e9cadas y es vital actuar lo m\u00e1s antes posible, por ello, la necesidad de diagnosticarla lo antes posible, dijo Andrew Park.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Qu\u00e9 recomiendan los especialistas<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El primer consejo es observar si hay alg\u00fan cambio inusual en el comportamiento, en el lenguaje y en el estado de \u00e1nimo de un ser querido. Ver si su capacidad de realizar tareas cotidianas como conducir, sufren alteraciones, por m\u00e1s m\u00ednimas que sean.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si hay una m\u00ednima sospecha, hay que buscar atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, comunicarse con un proveedor de salud que pueda hacer un estudio m\u00e1s conclusivo, comprender sus circunstancias de vida y lo que sol\u00edan hacer, es decir, tratar de determinar si se trata de un problema.
